Image resolution

I've some images taken with my Mavic Air 2. Had it set to both JPG+RAW and 48mp. The photos a few months old. Files have been moved, some lost, computer had a heart attack at one stage. Finally getting around to sorting stuff into a decent filing system again.

Anyway, in file explorer the JPGs are coming up as 8000*6000, and the DNG as 960*720. Yeah, thats not right, I know. I open the DNG in any application and they're that resolution. I open it in Photoshop and Camera Raw tells me its 8000*6000. Thats with out any super resolution. And I can zoom in and it's perfect.

So Camera Raw is saying the DNG is 8000*6000, which is great, but how do I tell lightroom that?

Any thoughts appreciated

The File explorer wrongly reports the pixel dimensions of the DNG file's embedded jpg preview instead of the DNG pixel dimensions.

This happens at my end as well, and is one of the reasons that I use a third party file explorer. (Directory Opus)

Lightroom should also report the correct dimensions, are you saying that it doesn't?

In the future, please do not attach images, but use the Insert Photos button on the toolbar to insert them directly in your posts.

Yes, lightroom is saying it's 2560*1920.

Yet when I zoom to 100% it looks more like a 8000*6000 than 2560*1920

Upload one of the problem DNGs to Dropbox, Google Drive, or similar and post the sharing link here. We can put it under the  microscope to see what's going wrong and file a bug report with one company or the other.
