Images not rotating when tethering

All of a sudden, when tethering and shooting in portrait, images are randomly loading in landscape. It's sometimes every other image, sometimes multiple in a row. It's random. A shoot two weeks prior had no issues. I'm using a MacBook Pro 13.5.2, LR Classic 13.1, and Canon R3. I have not updated the camera firmware, OS or LR versions. Shot in raw on both cards. I also have had issues with images pulling in during tethering and the file renaming (I don't rename files when tethering) and not saving to the card. For example, filename starts with EDP0001, but they rename to IMG0001 and they aren't on the card at all, only on my computer and LR. Then randomly it reverts back to my regular filenames.
