Images out of order

Hi all hope you can help , i use Nikon Snapbridge which in turn uploads to apple photos from there i use lightroom ipad to select images to upload to Lightroom classic on the i mac . They have always been done in the order they were capture but of late they have uploaded with images taken previously going back 12 months if anyone can offer any advice i would be grateful. All devices are running the latest versions
