Images with a glitch and very high cpu and RAM

Hi everybody,

I'm a Lightroom user with a MacBook Pro 2,3 GHz i9 8 Core Cpu and 16 Gb Ram.

I'm experiencing a very high usage of CPU and RAM even if I'm just scrolling through the gallery (like 160%), and if I edit some images, sometimes I get that my photos appear to be glitched, with red and green stripes on them, but only the photos, not the entire screen.

Any ideas on what could it be?

Could be your GPU. Your Mac has an integrated GPU which may be below specs or close to that. You can try what happens if you turn off the GPU in Preferences - Performance.
