I cant import pics from my backup disk to LRC   I can see other files there. need help please

Why are you importing pictures from your backup disk? What problem are you trying to solve? What happens when you try? What is the error message?

Normally I download all my pics from the camera to this disk ( external hard disk) and then import to LrC.

This time I couldn’t see the file with the downloaded pics. I see the other files
