Import from external catalog dosen't work after update

After the update to Lightroom Classic CC on both of my systems I am not able to import from the catalog on the other computer. I get an error message that the external catalog seems to be no valid Lightroom-catalog. On the other computer the catalog works. How can solve this issue since I work most of the time on my MacBook and transfer the files afterwards to my iMac.

hello everybody
I think this should be a big mistake from adobe (another one)
when you try to import from another lightroom classic catalog the answer is "is not a Lightroom catalog
please adobe tell us how resolve this problem or better resolve this problem quickly

IMPORT FROM CATALOG works for me.  If you just did an EXPORT FROM CATALOG than open this file in Classic before you do an IMPORT FROM CATALOG. I have had issues in the past if I did not open the exported catalog before I imported.

Are you exporting from the converted catalog with negative files?
