Import from iPhone 15 Pro not starting

Hi,

LrC (14.1.1) will not start the import of images from my iPhone 15 Pro (iOS 18.1.1) on my mac Studio M2 64GB macOS (15.2).

When 1. pressing Import and 2. selecting the source and 3. the wanted images the import window disappears and it shows as if the import had started but no images / videos are ever coming through. I left it do its thing for about 15 min then aborted and tried again after restarting LrC.

Any ideas? what's wrong?
