Question

Import images to Lightroom Classic and store them on a hard drive from Lightroom (Windows)

Bonjour,

"Importing" should not be necessary!

If your images are synced (as suggested by Ranjisha) then you only need to enable 'Sync' in Lightroom-Classic and all Cloud images will download to Lightroom-Classic automatically.

It is suggested that you first decide the Folder location for the downloaded photos in LrC Preferences > Lightroom Sync...

SYNC SETUP IN CLASSIC

Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 15.3, Photoshop 27.5, ACR 18.3, Lightroom 9.3, Lr-iOS 10.4.0, Bridge 16.0.3 .

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out; We're here to help.

Could you please share the version of Lightroom (Help > About Lightroom) and the version of Windows on your computer? Please log on to Lightroom web (https://lightroom.adobe.com) and confirm if everything is correctly synced.

Where are the images located now?

Check this article for steps to sync and migrate your assets to Lightroom Classic: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/lightroom-classic/how-to/sync-photos-lightroom-mobile.html.

Once you have migrated the images, you can store them on your disk and clean up Lightroom.

Try out the steps mentioned and let us know if it helps.

Thanks.

Ranjisha
