Import issues of iPhone Photos into LRC

Hello LRC community.  I have an iMac Retina 5K, 27inch, Intel Core i5.   I have been running LRC 12.4,  Ventura 13.4.1,  and iPhone iOS 16.5.1  for a few weeks now without any photo import issues.  All of a sudden I cannot import any new photos from my iPhone into LRC. All I get are gray boxes. I have tried several USB cords, all with the same result. I was able, however, to import Nikon D850 RAW images from a QXD card reader without a problem. 

I also have a MacBook Pro with Ventura 13.3,  and LRC 12.4.  This morning I succesfully loaded the iPhone images onto that machine without issue.  

Needless to say, I'm frustrated.  Is it glitchy Ventura 13.4.1 on my iMac?
