import problem

Ik kan mijn vragen en antwoorden nog steeds niet terugvinden, ondanks: Rigt where you left them. Blijkbaar ben ik daar te dom voor. Kunt u iets specifieker zijn?

 

Ik kan onder LRc Library Module nog steeds niet de betreffende foto's bewerken. Ik ga naar Mappen  > Mappen+ > betreffende Map toevoegen > 2x drukken. En dan verschijnt de geselecteerde foto, maar ik zie dan niet hoe ik de foto kan bewerken. En als ik op importeren druk, wat waarschijnlijk niet moet als ik het goed begrijp, dan verschijnt een andere foto uit een recente andere map.

    Dit klinkt alsof je niet goed begrijpt hoe Lightroom Classic werkt. Lightroom Classic is geen fotobewerker zoals Photoshop, maar een database programma waarin je foto's beheert alsof ze in een adresboekje staan. Vanuit dat boekje selecteer je een foto en ga je naar de Ontwikkelen module om die te bewerken. Dit forum kan geen complete cursus Lightroom Classic geven, dus ik raad je aan om een boek over Lightroom Classic aan te schaffen. Misschien mijn boek? Het het "Het Lightroom Classic boek" en is te vinden in de Google Play Store of bij lees.nl.

    Ik heb al duizenden foto’s geimporteerd en ontwikkeld in LRc en dat ging altijd goed, ook na de betreffende Map van mei waarmee het fout ging. Een echte beginner ben ik niet. Op het forum voel ik mij nog niet thuis. Zeker niet in het Engels.

    Als ik de foto’s in de Library op de normale manier zoek, dan vind ik de foto’s niet in de betreffende Map, maar in 4 mappen waarin ze oorspronkelijk stonden. Daar kom ik hieronder op terug. Bij die mappen staan in de Library vraagtekens. En als ik een foto uit een van die mappen wil bewerken door op D te drukken, dan zegt het systeem: ”kan bestand niet vinden’’. Dat zegt die ook bij het normale mij bekende importeren van de mappen. Het lukt dus niet via importeren en niet via het normale mij bekende ‘mappen zoeken’.

    Omdat het via de Library moest lukken volgens het Forum, ben ik daar gaan zoeken en kwam via Mappen+ bij de Map die ik van de 4 mappen had gemaakt. Maar ook daar kom ik niet verder. Dan zegt het systeem: ‘’Dat lijkt een duplicaat te zijn van een andere foto die al in de catalogus voorkomt’’.

    Ik heb in mijn primaire vraag op het forum erop gewezen dat ik vermoedde dat ik het probleem zelf veroorzaakt heb door het verplaatsen van de foto’s in mappen of naamsaanpassing van de map (en ik denk dat dat klopt). Deze primaire vraag zie ik overigens niet terug in de discussie op het Forum!

    De vraag was dan ook of dat nog op te lossen is. Zo niet dan beschouw ik de foto’s als verloren.

    Search for the photos in Lightroom Classic by performing all four of these steps, in order.

     

    1. In the Lightroom Classic Library Module, on the left, under Catalog, click on All Photographs
    2. Turn off all filters (Ctrl-L once or twice)
    3. Turn off all stacking (Photo->Stacking->Expand All Stacks)
    4. Search for at least one of these photos by file name using the Lightroom Classic Filter Bar

    Once you import the photo(s), you should be in the Lightroom Library module, and the most recently import photo(s) should be displayed. Select a photo, press D (or click on Develop) and edit the photo. If you want to come back later and edit the photo(s), go to the Library Module and find the photo(s) and edit them, no importing needed.

    I found my questions and your answers under my profile and avatar (do now know what that is) Thanks for that.

     

    But can still not develop the conserning photos.

    I have to find the the photos in the LRc Library module and not by importing, you told me (indeed I get questionmarks under 2023 when I try Maps directly). I tried the following: Maps+, add Map, select the Map I want to Develop, I see the map and all pictures I need (In a white block it says: "this looks as a duplicate of another picture, which is present already in the catalogue") Can you confirm that this is the right way??

     

    As you advised, I select a photo. But when I press D on my board nothing happens and I see no possibility to click on Develop.

    Last week Adobe Support Community already sent me 3 e-mails with the question: Did you get your answer you needed, while there was still no answer from the Community Forum to my last question of June 18. I think the answer to the questioin is no, but I do not understand the procedure.
