Import problems

For the last few days I have been unable to import images and it's saying Destination not writable. I have updated my Mac 27inch to latest version and also updated Lightroom cc. I have not changed any thing. Can someone please help?.

Are you talking about Lightroom Classic? You didn't tell us.

First thing to check is if the exact Destination folder has write permission.

Also tell us the exact unedited complete error message, with nothing left out, word-for-word.

Lightroom Classic. Can not move a file to destination folder because it is not writable. Not sure how to check if destination folder is writable sorry. Can you explain in more detail.

I don't know how to check or change permissions on a Mac, but I'm sure your favorite internet search engine can find out how.
