imported book pages empty

Have you considered resetting your preferences file? Please remember many settings in preferences may/will revert to defaults if you do so. (not the reason to reset the preference file, but one result to be aware of, would not want you to be angry as a result). As you may know, the preference file can get corrupted leading to all sorts of odd behavior in LrC.

so sorry, lightroom classic, cataloge was tranfered from the macbookpro to my imacpro...both running on macos monterey version 12.6.6

I had created the book on the macbook lightroom classic , exported the whole catalogue with images from the summer work on a SSD then imported it to the imacpro lightroom classic....one of the books showed up fine with images, an other book inside of a collection, had three versions of three other books, you can see the photos in the film strip, in library but none of the images show on the pages of the books inside of the collection, they had all been saved...it has the poper amount of pages, the names,  but no photos on the pages. 

what app?
