Importing edited images into Lightroom without them being de-edited

I want to import my images I have already edited with Nikon ViewNX 2 into Lightroom without them being de-edited. I want to be able to fine tune them if needed to then print them.  Anyway to do this?   When I import the images they first appear as I edited them then they correspondingly get de-edited.  Thank you

    Lightroom does NOT read any edits to RAW files made in ViewNX2.  You need to save the files in ViewNX as 16 bit TIFFs and import the TIFF files into Lightroom if you want your edits.  The better option would be to just use ViewNX or Lightroom, not both.
