Importing issues with latest update to Lightroom Classic

Hello everyone! I just downloaded the latest update to Lightroom CC the other day.  Tonight I just tried to import images and now I am getting an error message on all the images. There is an exclamation point on all the images stating "Lightroom has encountered a problem reading this photo". I reset the preferences already and nothing. I also deleted the images and imported them again, and still the same message. All the images are RAW files. I never had any issues up until now and I am not sure what the deal is.

So I re-installed the previous version of Lightroom Classic and deleted v.9 and everything works fine.

And what anti virus, cyber security, ransomware, etc is in use. Lately Windows Defender has caused some grief, lately Acronos Active Protection is causing grief.

Your statement "latest update to Lightroom CC" leads to the question on exactly wahat version of Lightroom you are talking about. The product name Lightroom CC is long gone. Current is either Lightroom, or Lightroom Classic. The later being v9

So, please share your System Information as Lightroom reports it. In Lightroom click on Help, click on System Info, click on Copy. Paste that into a reply.

Note that this will also provide some missing info useful for diagnostics. What OS, what GPU, what GPU driver, what plug-ins, etc.
