I have a new macbook and I made a copy of my HD and put it on the new macbook.

Now I see that all of my photo's in lightroom lost there changes I made on the old mac.

What can I do?

Importing Photos is the wrong thing to do.

Start over, follow these instructions exactly. https://www.lightroomqueen.com/how-move-lightroom-to-new-computer/

Do not skip steps (unless its the part about moving from Windows to Mac). Do not add in extra steps. And this is so important I am going to say it a few more times: DO NOT IMPORT PHOTOS. DO NOT IMPORT PHOTOS. DO NOT IMPORT PHOTOS. No matter how badly you want to import photos, do not import photos. I have told people this in the past, and still they go ahead and import photos, and as you have seen this does not work.

I forgot something to say.

The HD of my macbook is not that big,so I exported my photo's with catalogue, for every year I have a folder on the external HD with the catalogue file.

When I open that catalogue,I see all the changes on my photo's.

But when I open the catalogue on my macbook,I see the photo's on the external drive whitout changes.

How can I change it?

Sorry for my bad English.

Please follow the instructions at the link I gave.

The brief outline of the process: Copy the catalog file(s) to the new computer. Copy the photos to the new computer. Open these catalogs on the new computer. Follow the instructions to link the catalog to the photos. The link has the details.
