Importing photo problem

I store my photos on an external drive (D).  When I import, I select the the 2025 folder in the D drive as the destination, but the photos are still imported to the C drive.  What am I doing wrong?

Bob, I found the cause of the problem.  The "To" in Imports was going to the C drive.  I erased all paths and put in the correct path.

Post a FULL screen clip of the import dialog with ALL the settings.

Were can i find this setting and doese this also count for the norml Lightroom (not Lightroom Classic)?
