Importing raw images on iPhone 16 pro to LrC

I have Dng photos on my Iphone 16 Pro and in exporting them to LrC on my MacBook M Pro they are converted to jpeg's. How can they be inported into LrC and remain as Raw images?  I am using the LR app on my iPhone.

Thanks,

Adrian

Hey, @adriant12105070. Welcome to the Lightroom Classic community. I'll help you figure this out.

How do you import the images from the iPhone to Lightroom Classic? Do you use Apple Photos to import the images to Lightroom Classic?

Images imported from Lightroom mobile (iOS/Android) & Lightroom Desktop sync as full-size raw files to the cloud at Lightroom Web (https://adobe.ly/3RYYXR6). By design, Lightroom Classic works with images stored locally, so Lightroom's logic requires the full-size images to be downloaded at the default location.

Awaiting to hear from you. Thanks!
