Importing single folders from iPhotos

Running lightroom 5.7.1 and having trouble importing just a single folder of pictures from iPhoto. Any help.

    You will need to export copies from iPhoto to the desktop. Place the folder with images in a permanent location on the internal or external drive then bring into Lightroom using:

    Import >> Add
