Imports are starting in the middle of my editing

While I am busy editing photographs, LRC starts importing again. I have to eventually quit and restart the program over and over while I am trying to work. It is very frustrating - any ideas?

 

I am working on LRC version 15 that I updated 7 days ago.

 

I cannot reproduce the problem - the import window just opens and requests that I select a source.

Make sure that Show import dialog when a  memory card is detected is unchecked in Preferences > General.

Also, turn off Autoplay in Windows settings.
