Question

Hugo

There are several reasons why you are having problems.

LrC is only available via subscription to LrC is via the Adobe Photography plan which include Photoshop, LrC, Lr Desktop and Lr Mobile for tablet and Smart phones.

LrC requires version 13.4 to sync to the Adobe Creative Cloud.

The same issue means your system cannot support Lr Desktop and they cannot sync to your Tablet or Smart phones even if they can use Lightroom Mobile.

So you will be paying monthly or annual fees for services you cannot access.

If you discontinue your subscription you can still utilize LrC 11 you will not be able to utilize the Develop Module but you can utilize the edit features available in the Library Module.

I am not sure what version of Photoshop / Bridge / Camera Raw you will have access to, most likely it would be limited to the features in LrC 11.

You will have to decide if the cost of upgrading your Computer is worth while.

I have a similar situation with my iMac as I cannot upgrade above LrC 12., however can use my Win Laptop to access the latest version of LrC, Lr, PS, and Lr Mobile.

Regards, Denis: iMac 27” mid-2015, macOS 11.7.10 Big Sur; 2TB SSD, 24 GB Ram, GPU 2 GB; LrC 12.5,; Lr 6.5, PS 24.7,; ACR 15.5,; (also Laptop Win 11, ver 24H2, LrC 15.0.1, PS 27.0; ) Camera Oly OM-D E-M1.

Hello,

"I have contacted Adobe support several times, but the only response is that Lightroom 11 is “no longer supported” and no installer can be provided."

There are many posts in this forum over the past many years from people who have successfully contacted Adobe support to get links to older versions.  You might try contacting support again a few more times.  Adobe support can be pretty random.

I'll do that until they give me something. I have no other options.
Right now this puts me in a bad situation professionally as I can't work and will not be able to respect the deadline if Adobe doesn't give me a solution.
I feel like they don't want to help at all, saying basically "you should buy a new computer to keep on using our softwares" which is quite annoying knowing I've been paying their softwares for years an honestly I'm quite surprised to see how my case is managed...

Please, if someone has got a lightroom classic v11 installer let me know. This would completely solve my problem easily without trouble.

Hello everyone,

I’m an Adobe Creative Cloud subscriber using Lightroom, and I’ve run into a serious problem.

My computer (a 10-year-old Mac) is limited to macOS Catalina (10.15). As you know, Lightroom Classic 11 is the last version compatible with Catalina.
Unfortunately, this version is no longer available in the Creative Cloud app : I can only see version 14 (which cannot be installed on Catalina).

I’ve contacted Adobe Support several times, but the only reply I get is that Lightroom 11 is “no longer supported” and that no installer can be provided. They suggest upgrading my system, which is simply not possible with my hardware.

The result : I’m paying for a subscription that I cannot actually use, since I cannot open my v11 catalog nor install the current version.

My question:
Has anyone in the community been able to obtain:

  • the official offline installer for Lightroom Classic 11 on macOS, or

  • an older version of the Creative Cloud desktop app that still allowed downloading LrC 11?

Even a lead or a contact would be a huge help 🙏

Just to clarify:

  • I am a paying subscriber.

  • A few months ago, I even had to pay €90 in cancellation fees for an annual subscription before re-subscribing. On top of this current issue, it’s becoming hard to justify for such an expensive software that I’ve been paying for over the years.

  • I am not asking for support for LrC 11 — only for a legal way to install it on my machine.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help shed some light on this !
