In adobe lightroom classic how to set a primary monitor?

Hi. I work from a MacBookPro with a large monitor attached. Is there a way to specify this monitor a the main display on which the app is launching?

So far I can only get it to have the MacBookPro display to be the "1".

Should be so simple, any other app in the world does that easily. Very frustrating.

I don't think you can, but as you apparently do this with other apps too, wouldn't it make more sense to set the big monitor as your first monitor? That's what I do (I have two big monitors attached to my MBP). You do this in MacOS by going to System Settings - Displays and then in the section where you arrange the monitors you drag the little menu bar to the monitor you want to be the main monitor.

Hi Johan, thanks for taking the time to anser.

However, that is already the case: My LED Cinema display is set as main display, that still doesn't solve the problem with LRC stubbornly stuck to the MacBookPro built in display.

That is strange. On my MBP it does not do that. It starts up on the main display. Try what happens if you use 'Full Screen with menubar' in Lightroom.
