in import window, camera not detected

Question

Using Canon R6 Mk2 camera, I have been importing my photos using a USB C cable. (to my Mac). The camera would show in the import window. (This is not tethered shooting) This has recently stopped working . SD card in card reader slot works as expected. The native "Photos" app on my Mac sees the Camera via USB C, with no issue.
While isolating the issue; restarted the Mac, used other USB C cables, tested other SD cards, but issue persists.
Tried reseting import settings, issue persists

I setup a test user account on my Mac and connected my camera with a USB C cable and LRC did show it in the import function!
Feeling very much like a setting in LRC
Mac running Mac OS 15.1.1 and LRC is 14.0.1
I can only assume that it's some setting in LRC

Any thoughts?
