In LR classic I have a dng file can link to a Nef file?? Cannot find tje dng file!

Can I link / locate a dng file from LR to a nef file since I cannot find the original dng file on my disks? The umages are the same just tve extensionthat is different!

Have you tried using the search "Finder" to locate the .dng image?

Yes I have tried finder... the thing is that when upload the files to LR I had my files on my Mac harddisk. Then I moved these Dng files to an external hard disk don't remember to which extrrnal disk and when I use finder since I moved the files finder cannot find them. But I do find the same photos but witk .NEF instead of .dng...
