Incomplete Masking of People

I'm used to the masking tool not selecting the occassional body part, but recently I'm noticing that the selection has a hard straight line cutting off parts (see screenshot below). I can use other tools to fix this, but it seems very odd that the selection is so wierdly incomplete.

Computer specs: 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13700KF, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER, 32Gb DDR5

Thanks for any suggestions you have.

Issues like this are almost always caused by outdated GPU drivers, so check for updates with the manufacturer. If you have an Ndivia GPU, then make sure you use the Studio drivers, not the Game Ready drivers.

Thanks for your comment. This is a new computer and I hadn't checked the drivers for the Nvidia GPU. I have done that now and will keep an eye on this.
