The images displayed in the LrC Library and Develop are inconsistent in terms of color, contrast, etc
After reinstalling Win10 and updating to use Lightroom Classic, I found that after importing the images into lrc, the images displayed in the library did not match the images shown in the modified photos.
I learned from the help that the "Library module and the second window use a different color space than the Develop module and a way to render image previews."
However, the images imported before viewing the upgraded system and software show the same, which is different from what is described in Adobe Help, can you please help me with this?
(1) Imported before upgrading. The display is consistent and normal. (2) Imported after upgrading. The display is inconsistent.
I strongly suspect that this means Embedded preview.
You have set LrC to use the jpg previews embedded in the raw files, rather than having LrC create its own Library previews.
You control this in the import dialog, where you seem to have chosen Embedded & Sidecar under File Handling > Build Previews. Use a different option (like Standard), and the embedded previews will not be used, and Library and Develop should display identically.
Library and Develop do use different color spaces for previews, but color management makes sure that they display identically, except in rare cases, depending on the color gamut of your monitor.
When I updated to use Lightroom Classic after reinstalling Win10, I noticed that after importing images into lrc, the images displayed in the gallery, did not match the images displayed in Modified Photos.
However, when I look at the images imported before upgrading the system and software, they show the same, which is not the same as described in the Adobe help, can you help me to solve this problem?
