Question

Incorrect link in a post from Adobe

At this link entitled "Lightroom Classic 14.2 release is now available" (which is locked, so I can't post there) I click on the link and right near the top it says "What's New In the Update". I click on that link and I am taken to the what's new in Lightroom Classic 14.3. The "What's New" for 14.2 is nowhere to be foudn. Similarly there doesn't appear to be a "What's New" for 14.1 either.

@CMass  Can you review the links in your post?

    Hey @dj_paige!

I'm a long-time fan, and I really appreciate your support in the community. Here’s what’s new for version 14.2: https://adobe.ly/432CTdx (updated the announcement)

It seems there was a glitch, as this update isn’t listed in the content. I’ll inform the content team about it. Thank you!

    Seems to be fixed. Thanks!

But as long as we are on the subject, I object to calling 14.2 by the name "Feb 2025 release of LrC". Us users cannot possibly remember or keep track of what release was in what month. And the text "14.2" never appears in the "What's New". Let's call version 14.2 by the name "Lightroom Classic 14.2" and not by the month it was released. (Or as an alternative, use both names)

I've always found the Adobe release notes poorly organized, more focused on marketing than informing and incomplete. The Lightroom Queen release notes are more authoritative and informative:

    Hello, @John T Smith

My question was not about Lightroom Classic. It is a question about the community. My question was about this community and apparently incorrect information posted by Adobe in the Lightroom Classic forum.
