install lightroom classic

i have a adobe account, trying to install lightroom classic on my Mackbook pro. it doesent start downloading.

what can I do

    But do you subscribe (monthly or annually) to a Photography Plan?

    When I click on the [Install] (or [update] ) button in the Desktop App, I frequently see the progress bar not start to move or change for a considerable time. I walk away and look back later to find it complete.

    Are you installing from the Desktop App?

    Try Signing OUT then Signing IN of the Desktop App. Is the Desktop App the latest version? (4.70.400)

    Screen-clip is to illustrate the [Install] button only!

    Click the three dots for the Menu and Preferences to check App version.
