Question

Installing Lightroom Classic CC

I have the creative cloud and I downloaded Ps on my external hard drive and Lightroom CC. I didn't like Lightroom CC so I removed it and wanted to try Lightroom Classic. But now it will not download. It says I don't have any disc space but I have plenty of space on my external. I have set my preferences to install on my external but Lightroom Classic keeps wanting to try to install on my internal drive. I cannot get it working. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Which operating system do you use?

How much free disk space do you have on your internal and external hard drive?

Even if you specified the external disk as the installation directory, some parts will be installed on the internal disk.

In my opinion you do you no favor with installing LR and PS on the external disk. Because of the performance, the installation should be done on the internal disk.

    My System: Intel i7-8700K - 64GB RAM - NVidia Geforce RTX 3060 - Windows 11 Pro 25H2 -- LR-Classic 15 - Photoshop 27 - Nik Collection 8 - PureRAW 6 - Topaz Photo AI

And I should even add that I can go back and reinstall Lightroom CC with no issue. So the issue seems to be the Lightroom Classic, it's so frustrating!
