Question

internal error using "delete files from disk"

With a filter set to show all files with zero stars, I selected all files, selected Remove, and then selected Delete from Disk.  After a short period of time, during which LR reported it was deleting the files, I then received a pop-up error messagebox stating "An internal errro has occurred: ?:0: attempt to index a nil value".  Messagebox screenshot attached.  The action succeeded, however - all the proper files were removed from LR and deleted from disk.

Thanks, but no Logi plugins.  The only plugins I have installed are jf Data Explorer and Show Focus Points. Neither were active when this problem occurred.

This is the classic error received when deleting multiple photos in LrC. When you have the Logi Options plug-in. This plug-in provided by Logitech supports assigning actions to various buttons on the capable mouse and/or keyboard (Nest model I think). The plug-in is not to be confused with the Logitech app if the same name that lets you adjust the mouse and/or keyboard, nor the driver. This plug-in is a known but of bad software. (not my original statement, but the software running this blog lasts my dirty words)

So, if you happen to have it, deactivate it, or better yet, remove it.
