iPhone Imported Photos folder misaligment

Hi,

I have an unusual problem where LR Classic (v12.1) reports a number of photos (8 in the first screenshot) in the iPhone Imported Photos folder in the Folders panel on the left, but no display of corresoponding photos in the Grid view in the middle of the screen. If I right-click on that folder and select Show in Finder, it brings up the Mobile Downloads.lrdata folder (see 2nd screenshot), which does contain the images.

This seems to have come about when I started a Synchronise Folder action on the iPhone Imported Photos folder but aborted it part way through. This seems to have caused a misalignment in LR, which I haven't been able to resolve by restarting LR.

Can anyone suggest a way to correct this mislaigment, as otherwise LR will permanently report 8 files that I cannot see or access in the Grid view.

Cheers, Frank

Thanks for your suggestion. I tried that amongst other tricks to see if I could get the count aligned with what was actually in  the Mobile Downloads.lrdata folder, all to no avail as the count in LR was always higher, as described above. I walked away and restarted LR an hourt later to find that the count was now aligned. I have no idea which trick fixed it but it now seems to be nornal. Strange. Thanks again.

Did you try to simply synchronize this folder again?
