Question

Iphone Photo Organization

Does anyone have a good way to organize photos from your iphone camera into Lightroom??  Right now I have them all going to a folder on my mac.  If I delete them in Lightroom, do I still have to go delete in off my camera roll??  Is there a way to simplify and make that only one step?  I take pictures of everything and I am overwhelmed at trying to organize them.  Any tips would be much appreciated!

Google Photos will auto delete your photos from your camera roll when you ask it to. I sync my images into Lightroom AND into Google Photos and then have google clean up my camera roll from time to time. It works as an extra bit of backup, but, of course, my LR edits aren't synced to Google.

Personally, I take the camera roll out of the loop by using the Lightroom camera app on my iPhone. So all pictures, whether from iPhone or cameras, exist only within the Lightroom "space" and are managed from there accordingly.

There isn't a way that I know of to delete from your camera roll automatically when using Lightroom on the iPhone. Deleting photos from LR won't delete photos from your camera roll.

That's what I thought.  Does anyone have suggestions of the best way to streamline this?  I've watched one youtube video after another trying to figure out the best way to do this and can't wrap my head around it.
