Is it possible to convert camera profiles to the new XMP format?

As the new version of Lightroom Classic CC is installed, it finds and converts the DCP format profiles to the new XMP profiles that can be found under the Basic Panel. Is it still possible to create a camera profile using Adobe DNG Profile Editor and then make it visible in Lightroom in the new XMP format? If so, what is the tool to use for it?

Thanks,

I'm pretty sure you can still make custom camera profiles in .dcp format. The next time that Lightroom starts, it will convert them.

Oh, that's very good news. Thank you. I must have misunderstood the process. I appreciate your chiming in so quickly!
