Is Lightroom Classic, running on Ventura, compatible with all of my LR 5 data?

I have upgraded my Mac to Ventura, unaware of the LR5 problems. If I install LR Classic, will it run on Ventura? And if so, does it automatically link to my LR5 catalogue and data? In otherwords, does it act as an upgrade to my existing LR5 rather than installing as a completely new program?

In general, the answer is yes to all your questions. (The first time you launch LrC it should ask you if you want to upgrade your Lr 5 catalog; sometimes that doesn't happen for various reasons, but is easily fixed)
