Is LR/transporter plugin working with LR Classic?

Hello!

I have a CSV file with filenames, captions and keywords for 400 images that I'd like to import into Lightroom Classic (its last version, I use to have it updated). I've installed the LR/transporter plugin, that would be the perfect solution, and I've run the trial, but nothing happens (the plugin says that the trial was OK, but it wasn't, a single keyword or caption wasn't imported). I've sent emails to the developers, but they don't answer. I wouldn't mind to pay for the plugin... as long as it works, of course, but I'm not certain about that, actually, I've read some comments out there that it's no longer supported by recent versions of Lightroom.

So any recent experience about this plugin would be greatly appreciated.
