Is there a keyboard shortcut to start Lightroom tethered capture?

I love the F12 single-button command to activate taking a photo. Now I want a key command to activate tethered capturing. Does it exist? Have I just not found it in my searching? Please reply. If it doesn't, consider this suggestion for future updates. Everyone currently must use a mouse/stylus to navigate via File>Tethered Capture>Start Tethered Capture. To have an option + Command/Control ___ something-or-other shortcut would be amazing; a great time saver. I want it for just getting started and also because, some days, I start, stop, and later re-start LrC to jump back into tethered shooting. Sometimes the whole works just keeps crashing for reasons only the Gods understand and we are quitting LrC and starting over to re-establish camera connections. Tether capture seems like a major function of LrC so a "get started" shortcut seems wise.

No in Lightroom, but as you've macOS as a tag:

You can make your own for any app on macOS

To build on Sean's reply, note that help article tells you to use the complete path of a menu item. e.g. "File->Tethered Capture->Start Tethered Capture...".   That doesn't work for many of LR's menu items, so instead use just the final menu item, e.g. "Start Tethered Capture...".

I forgot to mention I also want a keyboard shortcut to activate Live viewing once tethered capture is activated.

Did you ever figure this out for MacOS. I see that you can start tethered capture with a keyboard shortcut (command-T) and trip the shutter (F12), but 'd like a shortcut to open the Live View and also to rotate the Live View to portrait orientation.

Hey @Paul Takeuchi!

It looks like there isn't a shortcut for Live View yet. You can check out all the keyboard shortcuts for Lightroom Classic here: https://adobe.ly/40ptf4U;

I recommend visiting the Ideas board to see if anyone has already suggested this. You can upvote existing threads or start a new one if your idea isn’t there. The team reviews these suggestions and prioritizes future releases based on the number of upvotes. Here's the link: https://adobe.ly/4a6gvmV

Thank you!
