Is there a way in Lightroom or Photoshop to make "histogram type char but for saturation instead of luminosity? I could visualize that on the verical axis you see saturation level and on the horizontal you see hues.

I believe it could be helpful and not too difficult for Adobe smart guys to create.

    If you use a masking workflow in LrC, I don’t see how a tone curve (Histogram?) layout would be any more useful than the sliders that are available-

    Could you show us an example of this (perhaps from somewhere on the Internet) and explain how it would be helpful.

     

    Pixels have a density or intensity in the three colors (R G B), how is saturation defined and measured?
