Issue after yesterday's upgrade

Going into LR (desktop) for the first time since yesterday's upgrade and importing a group of photos. My work flow is now to go in and review and rate with stars which photos I am going to work on. Bottom Line: the stars are not being retained as I move photo to photo - they disappear. The same happens if I use the colour coding.....

Is this happening universally or is there a fix coming?

I can't reproduced this. It worked as it should.

Please try to reset the Lightroom preferences to the default settings.
