Provide Lightroom Classic version: Versão do Lightroom Classic: 14.0.1 [ 202410161356-30922cfc ]
Provide OS and version: macOS Sequoia 15.1.1
Issue: Provide good steps to reproduce the behavior:
Step 1 to reproduce the issue
I entered the application.
Immediately 25,000 photos and travel folders relating to a first-level folder were sent directly to the OS trash.
Step 2 to reproduce the issue
Next, Lightroom started to display folders with a location not found sign for photos and folders (question mark).
With Lightroom closed, I recovered the photos for the missing folders from the backup.
Step 3 to reproduce the issue
After recovering the previously deleted photos, I opened Lightroom again and now, at once it threw ALL my photos and folders to the OS trash.
Expected result: Lightroom should display my photos.
Actual result: Lightroom deletes all my photos.
PS:
I am a long-time user of the product, with experience. I had never seen this type of problem, which I consider serious.
Luckily I have a backup, but the restoration process will be painful, given that he sent 78 thousand photos to the trash (on macOS he throws everything out of the folders), in other words, there was no hierarchy of photos and folders.
