Issue: LR classic won't show photos full screen, only thumbnails

I have been using LR for years with no problems, this is a recent thing.
I use a 2019 Macbook Pro with Sequoia 15.1.1 and the 14.0.1 release of LR Classic.

I can see the photos in the library as thumbnails and expand them to their fullest size.  But when I try to go into full screen or the develop module, all I see is a blank (black) screen.

Any suggestions please?

Hey, @sylviah89234880. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll help you figure this out.

Where are the original images stored, on the internal or external drive?

Before anything else, while in the Library module > go to Library at the top menu bar > Find All Missing Photos. If any of the images in question are missing, relink them to Lightroom Classic and check if the issue exists: https://adobe.ly/3ZkBPjD

Just to be sure, ensure Lightroom Classic has the required permissions on the macOS: https://adobe.ly/43zB3AJ

Let us know how it goes. Thanks!

Thanks for taking the trouble to reply.  The fix from Sameer seems to have sorted it though.

Changing the permissions on the Mac seems to have sorted the problem, at least for now.  Fingers crossed it stays sorted!  Thank you so much!
