Issue Photoshop and Lightroom?

I discovered something strange 

 

when i send a photo from lightroom to photoshop the lens correction applied are not thesame 

 

I send a photo with this corrections from LR to PS 

 

 

it comes back to lightroom with 

 

 

 

 

corrections are different and the initial one can't be selected anymore 

 

how can it be ?

 

Version is 

13.5.1 Release Camera Raw 16.5   and MAC os Sequoia  so the latest the greatest versions

You should not apply it at all to the image that comes back, because it is 'burned into the pixels' of the returned image. So uncheck the option for the returned image.

To elaborate a bit more: almost all most lens profiles are for raw files only. When you send a raw file to Photoshop, the lens profile gets applied to the pixels and the image is returned to Lightroom Classic as a TIFF or PSD file. Lens profiles should be unchecked when the image returned for this reason. If you check it nevertheless, then Lightroom Classic will look for a matching profile within the few profiles it has that support non-raw files as well, and apparently this is the closest it could find.
