Issue with importing images

I'm not sure if anyone else has had the same issue, but I just updated to 13.1 on my Macbook this afternoon, and I am now unable to import. When I try to import, it is a blank screen with the loading symbol at the bottom—tried with numerous folders and image types and logging out and back in. Is anyone else having the same issue?
