Issue with LRC preferences when moving from Win 10 to Win 11

I have a bit of a dilemma. My old Windows 10 PC got zapped by lightning a couple of months ago. LRC Version 13.4.  Everything was backed up. Now I have a new Windows 11 PC. Downloaded LRC 14-4. Opened my 13.4 catalog and my presets are gone.

When I look for preferences on my new Windows 11 PC, I see the following:
C:\Users\...\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Preferences
Lightroom Classic CC 7 Preferences.agprefs
Lightroom Classic CC 7 Startup Preferences.agprefs

C:\Users\...\AppData\Local\Adobe\Lightroom\Preferences
preferences.wfprefs

On my Windows 10 backup, I only see the following:
C:\Users\...\AppData\Local\Adobe\Lightroom\Preferences
preferences.wfprefs

I copied the "preferences.wfprefs" file from my Win 10 backup to the same location on Windows 11
and restarted LRC. None of my preferences show up.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

RC

Develop Presets are not stored in the Preferences file. You need to look elsewhere for the .XMP files (or the ancient .LRTEMPLATE files).

Neither are Presets saved in Catalog Backups.

Personally, I keep copies of all my Preset files in a {My Documents} sub-folder that I regularly backup. This means I can always restore Presets should it be needed.
