I have a new laptop and updated the graphics drivers but still have the same problem. Sky and People select in maskimng do not work. Similiar issue with the beta AI tools in Photoshop. I updated my laptop to get these programmes running properly so keen to get some help.

I have the same problem . I cant use masking at all it doesnt select subjects or background or anything at all just keep getting the same error message . Very rarely it did work but mostly dont.  Everything is up to date I checked everything and still have the same problem . This is my details for the system info . Its very frustrating now I have wedding pictures to edit and cant use any of these features .

Agreed, mine is still broken and... where's the dang "Done" button to accept changes? 

Still having issues with new masks some work some don't those being select Sky and select Subject.  No respose from Adobe as to how to resolve the issues.  These though do work sometimes if I've take the image into Photoshop then back into lightroom.
