Issues with Importing from another catalogue - Lightroom Classic

I have been trying to import from another catalogue to no avail. 

 

Import from another catalogue dialogue box appears

Then select the picture (have only ben trying 1 to see if it works) 

Hit Import

Dialogue box disappears and then nothing .. returns to prginal catalogue. 

 

Help appreciated. Cheers

Importing from a Catalog? You need to select another Catalog and then all the files in that Catalog will be imported into the Catalog you have open. You cannot import with that options and select a "picture".
