Issues with the healing tool

After the upgrade to 14.2 I have had issues when I open pictures where the spot healing tool has been used for more than a few spots. I can select the picture, but if I use the shortcuts ”Q” (spot healing) or ”R” (cropping) the picture will dissapear and only the grey background is left. For pictures with only a few spots, the picture will reappear in maybe 30 seconds, however pictures with a lot of spots may not reappear even after more than 15 minutes. In that case I can force LRC to close and continue with other pictures. Prior to the upgrade I had no issues of this kind.

I have reset the preferences without any impact.
