The brush is now hiding in masking. It is the dashed circle with grey in the middle on the right side just below the histogram. Click it and select "Create New Mask" and then select Brush. You might also want to try out some of the new AI driven mask options there.

yes but you can't do that in Classic. You need to use photoshop. The current version also has a AI driven selection tool that can very easily and quickly select people for you. If you have Classic you also have access to photoshop so you're good there.
