Join two photos

I have two photos. They are quite different

How do I create one photo? i.e. place them side by side in a single photo / picture

    Although the other 2 replies you've gotten will work for what you want to do it is best done in Photoshop. 

    If you are a Phtography plan subscriber you have access to Photoshop and you should install and use that to do the joining,.

    In Lightroom-Classic- you could use the Print module using {Single Image/Contact Sheet}with two rows or columns, and 'Print' the result to a JPG file (Set in the Print Job panel)-

    Or place the photo cells as you like with a 'Custom Print'.
