JPG preview setting from normal to large change 100% zoom in Dev module! (?)

I have subscribed an Adobe Creative Cloud for Photography (PS+LRC)
Inside Lightroom Classic, in the Settings I had the JPEG Preview as Medium Size, that is the standard setting.
I have loaded a new set of photos from a new 100MP Fuji camera, they are over 11000 pixels on the longest side, and tried to edit them in the Development module, but when zooming to 100% the actual zoom was very little maybe around 20%! This never happened with my older photos taken with a 24MP camera!
I also have a free version of Capture One and there I realized that the 100% zoom on the new photos was way greater.
I looked for info for my LRC problem and found nothing until I had the idea to change the JPEG Preview setting to Full size and uploaded a new photo, and ta-dah! the zoom to 100% is much grteater than before, it is a real 100% zoom!
For more understanding and details I uploaded here a short video to see the difference of the 100% zoom you get between a 100MP photo uploaded with Medium Size preview and one loaded with Full size preview.
Is it normal??
What can I do now to be able to have a real 100% zoom on the photos I previously uploaded with the Medium Size preview setting??
Thanks
I have a monitor which reaches 1280 pixels. Working on Win 10.
