Question

Joachim Müller-Klink

Hello! Whatever I try, when I go to the marked location (TO Local Disk) and select the desired path (\\DS418\Bilder) this directory does not appear in the right column like the other ones. And I cannot go deeper into the directory. I send a screenshot showing the situation when I try to move one image to a new location. Best regards, Joachim

Hey John! Please be so kind to send a mail to mkl@textat.de after answering to my question. So I will be informed when something came in to this place.

Dear John! I am so pleased receiving your hint. And you have got it right. It is the right panel in the import dialouge. I have tried to access my main picture folder by clicking on IN and selecting the name of my NAS, that is DS418 and after that choosing the name of the directory, were all my photos are stored, that is BILDER. But unfortunatley when I search for this path underneath the menue Ziel (target) I can’t find a menue with this name. Before it always appeared here. There are a lot of menues in this place, like Lokaler Datenträger (C:), USB-Laufwerk (J:), music (\\:DS418) (Z.) and more. But not the target I need. This seems to me as if I am confronted with a network problem. Best regards, Joachim

Attached you will find a screenshot.

[View this post in your web browser. It contains formatting and images that don't appear in email.]

I can access them at \\DS418\Pictures. However, when I try to import new files, I can't find this directory in the right-hand column of the import window, even though other directories on the NAS are displayed.

To test my understanding, by “right-hand column of the Import window”, are you referring to the Destination panel on the right?  If not, please post a full-resolution screenshot (not a phone pic) of what you’re referring to.

If you are referring to the Destination panel, then try clicking the To button in the upper right and navigating to the desired folder:
