Question

Kelvin Designs presets only partially showing

I purchased a preset bundle from Kelvin Designs.  I downloaded them per the instructions on their website.  The first 5 sets showed up with no problem.  the extension they said to use was lrtemplate.  There was also a file with .xmp.  I did accidentally download the .xmp files first, but I deleted them and resaved them in the lrtemplate format.  Now, the files I opened wrong first aren't showing up.  Do I just need to back everything out and start over?  I have an email in to the website I purchased from also.  I downloaded LRc today.  I'm running on a new computer with Windows 11.  Thanks.

The .lrtemplate presets are an old preset format that is no longer used in LrC.

The .xmp presets format is the current format for presets.

Don't change .xmp to .lrtemplate.

Remove what you did and start over. Follow the instructions, adding both .lrtemplate and .xmp presets. LrC will automatically convert any old .lrtemplate format presets to the new .xmp presets.

.lrtemplate is still used for local adjustment presets, so if the bundle (also) contained these type of presets, then you do need to use the .lrtemplate ones (as well), but place them manually in the correct location. But why ask here, rather than the supplier of the presets?
